Artist Statement
I have been a traditional watercolorist for about 30 years but work in other media as well.
Currently I work more in acrylic and mixed media. I work objectively and non-objectively and continue to experiment in any direction that appears interesting.
Since the eye is the first step into communication between a successful piece of art and its viewer, it must pull the viewer in to travel, explore and savor the mysteries and pleasures therein. I strive to create this communication.
I have been in numerous exhibits (local, statewide, and national) and have won many awards.
I am a signature member of the New Mexico Watercolor Society, a member of the National League of American Pen Women, and the Society of Layerists in Multi Media
